Internet Impotence Drugs Prove Dangerous

by Jan McBarron M.D,N.D. (Health Headline News)

Internet-based companies continue to market and sell many impotence drugs both for men and women. According to the American Urological Association, a new study demonstrated that these internet drugs for erectile dysfunction are harmful. It goes on to say that researchers found that drugs including Viagra and Cialis bought over the internet are oftentimes counterfeit. Furthermore, they may contain too much, too little, or none of the active drug. These drugs are especially dangerous for men with high blood pressure or heart disease. In addition, these drugs often contained other potentially harmful toxins including mercury or lead. The sale of erectile dysfunction drugs has really mushroomed since they were first developed in 1998. Certainly most men want to enjoy enhanced sexual performance, but not at the risk of heart attack or stroke. Purchasing these drugs on the internet includes the dangers of the drug themselves and their side effects but also that of any potential contaminant.

That is not to say however that taking the drugs through the traditional route of the prescription and fulfillment through a pharmacy litigates side effects of the drug themselves.

  1. Everyone laughs about the 4 hour erection side effect but I know an emergency room Doc that treated a patient with it. He described the patient as suffering from severe pain and they intervened by inserting a corkscrew like device into the patient. He said the blood expolded all over the room and that the patient’s likelyhood of being impotent was very high as a result.
