Upon hearing your program last night about lung cancer in Cuba I was reminded about something I heard about an alternative approach to chemotherapy treatments I heard of, and since you people have a widespread influence I thought I might pass it on for what its worth.
I heard this on WMUZ radio (103.5 FM DETROIT, MI; our local Christian radio station) It was on a program hosted by Anthony Dimaggio, a gemologist from Lathrup Village – a suburb of Detroit. ph. 248-569-3000.
He stated that according to a Dr. Valter Longo, a gerenterologist from USC
that if a patient were put a 48 hr fast prior to treatment the body would retreat into a state of dormancy and would not be susceptable to the adverse effects of the treatment but would at the same time prove the treatment against the cancer itself to be much more efficacious, since the chemo only attacks active cell growth and only the cancer itself remains active.
